BNI to spend $106M for computer systems upgrade

Bank Negara Indonesia earmarked $106 million improve its information technology system.

 

This is part of the lender’s plan to boost service to its customer in the archipelago nation.

The spending will be used to improve the lender’s service to its customers on cash management, said Krishna Suparto, a director of BNI.

“We will continue to provide more features because electronic transactions have increased now, hitting more than 550 million transaction this year,” Krishna said.

The new cash management features include BNIDirect Internet banking, virtual accounting, student payments to universities, corporate billing, account pooling and supply chain management.
