Hanoi French Hospital adopts 3D mapping tech for cardio treatment

The system aids doctors in diagnosing heart conditions, whilst accurately locating areas in need of intervention.

Vietnam’s Hanoi French Hospital (HFH) has announced its adoption of a three-dimensional (3D) cardiac mapping and arrhythmia treatment system for treating heart-related diseases.

Developed by Abbott, the hospital’s EnSite X system combines its multipolar technology with the Advisor HD Grid mapping catheter to identify signals whilst recording them in 360 degrees.

Meanwhile, HFH mentioned that the tech’s 3D mapping feature allows doctors to diagnose cardiovascular conditions and accurately locate areas requiring intervention, leading to optimised treatment outcomes and reduced complications.

“Over the past 27 years of providing healthcare services in Vietnam, the most important thing for us is the health and benefits of our patients,” Erwan Debuc, Chief Medical Officer of HFH, said.

“By investing in the latest medical technology, we continuously improve healthcare quality in Vietnam, increase treatment efficacy, and bring greater benefits to patients,” Debuc added.
