Healthtech market in India to grow US$35b by 2030

E-pharmacy will have a market share of US$412b in 2030 from US$1.1b in 2022.

Indian healthtech market will increase to US$35b by 2030, driven by rising digital consumerism as smartphone penetration increases.

In a study by BCG and B Capital, the increase in digital distribution by traditional insurers and digital natives creating updated digital solutions will also help in rapid healthtech adoption increase.

Pharmaceutical firms will also contribute to the healthtech growth, with digital disease management. Meanwhile, wearables' recent development of 100 million deliveries in India last year, also helps in boosting healthtech growth.

The National Digital Health Mission is also pushing for the operationalisation of digital backbone in India.

E-pharmacy and e-diagnostics are also the top healthtech segments that will grow the most in the industry.
