Hutchinson Telecomm, Bowtie Life roll out telemedicine service

First time users will get a waiver on consultation fees, two days’ basic medication, and free delivery.

Hutchinson Telecommunication’s mobile arm 3 Hong Kong and Bowtie Life Insurance Company, have launched 3Care BowtieGo VDoctor, a telemedicine service via Whatsapp, a press release revealed. Users can make appointments via WhatsApp, virtually see a doctor at a designated time, and get receipts/medical certificates upon completion of online consultation.

First time users of the 3Care BowtieGo service will enjoy a waiver of consultation fee, basic medication for two days and free delivery. Consultation fees for the second and third consultations will be discounted at HK$19 whilst subsequent consultations will be charged the original fee of HK$49.

Moreover, mobile users from all local operators can purchase the personal edition of the 3Care BowtieGo VDoctor Annual Pass at $75.87 and 3 Hong Kong customers can select this edition by adding a value-added service for a monthly fee of HK$5.

Personal edition subscribers will also be eligible for a free quadrivalent seasonal influenza vaccine worth HK$58, the press release added.
