Abu Dhabi launches Emirati committee to bolster medical disciplines

It will focus on key disciplines, such as oncology, diabetes, and primary care.

The Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH) has established the Emirati Advisory Doctors Committee to identify areas for improvement in various medical disciplines.

The committee will focus on areas such as oncology, diabetes, primary care, gynaecology, infant health, cardiovascular diseases, kidney diseases, orthopaedic surgery, and genetic and genomic medicine.

It will also facilitate a two-way communication channel to determine the challenges faced by healthcare providers and allow practitioners to offer feedback on new standards and guidelines.
