BTN forecasts 50% increase in 2011 net

 


BTN expects its net profit to jump by up 50 percent next year due to housing demand.



"As the economy grows, consumption-type loans also flourish -- especially for housing," said Iqbal Latanro, PT Bank Tabungan Negara's president director.

"Therefore we have increased our loan growth target to between 20 to 30 percent next year, with asset growth about 15-20 percent."


The bank plans to raise up to 332 million via bonds and assets securitisation next year in order to fuel its loan growth target.
