The Asian Banking and Finance Retail Banking Forum continues its successful run with the third installment in Jakarta, Indonesia. It will be held on April 27, 8:30am to 12nn, at the Grand Mutiara 2, Lower Lobby Floor of the Ritz Carlton Jakarta Mega Kuningan.
The Forum aims to gather the key players in Jakarta's retail banking industry to network and share some insights about the most pertinent issues they face.
Liew Nam Soon, managing partner, financial services for ASEAN at Ernst & Young, is the thought leader for the forum and he will discuss about Managing Change and Risk in the Age of Digital Transformation - The Digital Journey of Financial Institutions in ASEAN.
The first panel discussion will focus on Non-Banking Competition & Mobile Banking, where bankers will share their insights on how FinTechs play a role in the current retail banking landscape. Panelists include: Chia Tek Yew, head of financial services for advisory at KPMG; Ivan Jaya, head of wealth management at Citibank; and Ka Jit, head of individual customer solutions at OCBC NISP.
A representative from Diebold will also deliver a presentation about some of the latest trends in the ATM industry and how their company can help improve the banks' products and services offered to clients.
The Jakarta leg of the Retail Banking Forum builds on the success of the previous events held in Manila and Kuala Lumpur, which gathered 50 and 30 bankers, respectively.
